O'Neal & Holmes, LLP was formed in 1985 - a merger of two highly successful individual practices that were started in the late seventies. O'Neal & Holmes, LLP is a very stable firm which has been in practice in the same office building for over 30 years.
James (Jim) M. Holmes, CPA serves as managing partner and guides our Atascocita office. His broad client base includes individuals, businesses, and common interest realty associations. He has 40+ years experience in public accounting with extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as pioneering tax exemption compliance for homeowner associations. He is a CPA and 1974 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, obtaining a BBA in Accounting. Jim worked for several large local CPA firms in Houston before starting his own CPA practice in 1978. He is a longtime member of both the AICPA and CAI.
